Ignorance is not an exemption(My Ignorance)

My first time in manila was, when I was 8 years old. We stayed in my sister’s house in MIA now NAIA. I was cleaning the house when my brother in-law arrives; he was working in MIA as maintenance. He called me upstairs telling that He bring home an Ice cream. They told me to attend to it because it would melt soon. I went downstairs and I saw a can bout 1/2 gallon, the packaging was new to me and I was thinking my brother in-law was just kidding me so I return back to cleaning upstairs ignoring them at all and I was laughing for the kind of jerk. After an hour my sister and my brother in law get back home from the market, they buy some foods for the meal. They again called me and ask me why I did not eat the Ice cream. I told them it is a floor wax; because I saw the can same as the can of floor wax I think it was Selecta.
Instead of scolding me they were really laughing to death. They told me it was a new packaging and they eat first before I eat mine.
Sometimes ignorance is fun, shame if you are in other place. I do have lots of mistakes and ignorant type of errors, like when going to the high rise building and you have no choice but to use the elevator. But I can carry on sometimes, if I am being “stoked”  I only told them jokingly that we do not have it at home that’s why, that’s a great excuse, but wish not always, because not always people could understand , we must be observant on what people do around us. If we will not try to learn we always be behind in the modern technology we have these days, and, wither  you like it or not the world still evolves to a new technology, so for us to be on the go at least  we need to learn and observant, because ignorance isn’t an exemption if something wrong happens.
